S: Rev. 15-18
O: The old order of life seems to be represented in the scripture by Babylon. That order undergoes extreme judgement in these chapters while the people of God are invited to a new order or reign of God that will allow them to escape the sins and plagues reserved for the old order.
I want to be a part of the new order. This is the challenge of being in the world and not of it. Jesus never said the journey would be easy or uncomplicated. It is an incredibly complicated deal to live in the emerging reign of God while the old order is all around.
